Terms of service

The reservation (after confirmation by us) and/or the purchase of a ticket implies full and complete acceptance of the below Terms of service. They govern the contractual relations between the persons listed on the booking and Blue Lagoon Taxiboat (the carrier).

General conditions of sale

The Carrier undertakes to transport the passenger on board a vessel complying with the safety standards in force, operated by a qualified professional skipper.
The Carrier declares that it holds professional insurance, this insurance does not cover the theft and loss of personal belongings of persons transported, nor damage caused to others and passengers during ground travel or ancillary activities (swimming, apnea, walking on land, etc.).

In the event of cancellation by the Passenger, for any reason whatsoever, the carrier reserves the right to retain part of the price of the cruise for up to:

  • 10% of the total price of the ticket retained as a booking fee if the cancellation takes place more than 1 week before departure.
  • 50% of the deposit paid if the cancellation takes place less than 24 hours before departure.
  • 100% of the deposit paid in case of no-show at departure.

In case of force majeure (weather conditions, technical damage etc.) the carrier reserves the right:

  • change the route or time of departure or return.
  • to cancel the cruise

If the Carrier were obliged to cancel the cruise, the deposit would be refunded in its entirety, without giving rise to any right to compensation.

The luggage and personal belongings of each Passenger remain under the supervision and responsibility of their owner. The Carrier shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to the Passenger’s luggage or property (particularly fragile and electronic objects) in the absence of gross negligence on the part of the Carrier or crew.

General safety conditions

The Passenger, declares that he or she has made enquiries about the skills required for the type of voyage and guarantees that he or she is able to make this voyage and that his or her behaviour or condition will not compromise the safety of the vessel and will not inconvenience other passengers.

The Passenger undertakes to maintain at all times an appropriate behaviour for navigation on a transport vessel so as not to interfere with the health and safety of other persons on board. The Passenger also undertakes to comply with all safety instructions and injunctions issued by the Carrier. Unaccompanied minors and pets are not allowed on board.

Any liability of the Carrier for any damage suffered as a result of death or bodily injury to a Passenger or loss of or damage to Baggage, shall be taken into account only if proof that this accident is the result of gross negligence on the part of the Carrier is proved.

Any claim must be addressed in detail to the Carrier on the same day in the case of a problem with baggage, or within three days in the case of a physical problem.
